Ferris Wheel Music Box

I bought the carousel on-line, delivery was swift and postage was very reasonable. I would say the model is easy to build as the included instructions are excellent. In the past I’ve made quite a few models from plastic and wood but I would say the quality of the components in this kit were excellent, especially as no glue is required! The build took about two and a half hours and you need to be careful when removing the parts from the plywood sheets, although spares are included. All in all I’m very impressed with the quality of the finished model and I love to wind up the clockwork motor and hear the music box playing ‘Around the world in eighty days’ as the carousel revolves

Not the best wooden model I have bought. The wheel clips together and theforce needed is quite large causing parts of the wheel structure to break. I spent hours repairing the wheel frame because if this. I would not recommend it. Other models I have bought from Mad museum have been fine but this one is very flimsy and easy to break during construction.

This was this first ever modle I made Plains were well laid out a couple of extra pieces which I was greatful for... Finish item was beautiful & worked... Lovely music too
