What dates are the Royal Mail strikes?
As of today, 6th December, The CWU is planning the following days of strike action, meaning its 115,000 members will stage a walkout on the following dates:
Friday December 9
Sunday December 11
Wednesday December 14
Thursday December 15
Friday December 23
Christmas Eve
For latest updates see here.
Royal Mail is urging customers to “allow plenty of time” for posting items this year.
Last Posting Dates
Wednesday 7 December | Royal Mail Bulk Mail Economy |
Monday 12 December | 2nd Class 2nd Class Signed For Royal Mail 48® |
Thursday 15 December | 1st Class 1st Class Signed For Royal Mail 24® Royal Mail Tracked 48®** |
Monday 19 December | Royal Mail Tracked 24®** |
Wednesday 21 December | Special Delivery Guaranteed® |
However, we urge all of our customers to complete their Christmas purchases as soon as possible, preferably well in advance of the advised last posting dates if possible.
We also strongly encourage all customers to opt for 1st class postage where possible, as indications seem to suggest that Royal Mail are currently heavily prioritising 1st class deliveries above all others.
Many thanks
The team at MAD Factory.
