So look, this is very nice, and pretty well designed, save for one, enormous, flaw-- the hand crank is.... in front. Look at the video. The very well manicured hand (far nicer than mine ever look) blocks the view of half of the moving bits. The shaft goes all the way through. The crank should be on the backside, so there is an unimpeded view of the whole thing moving about.

An ideal introduction into the world of automata, built this with my daughter one rainy afternoon and have to say I was most impressed with the way it all went together. Instructions are straight forward to follow. Very happy.

I was born and bred in England's capital but for work reasons haven't been able to return for a couple of years now. I bought this Timberkit model to remind me of home and I just love it. It's a pleasure to build, not to easy and not too difficult, and the finished movement is brilliant. Thank you for giving me such a great memory of home.

The made model looks just as good as the pics on here - it's sooo nice! I might paint my model.... what does everyone else do?

Nice model to build as a "starter kit", dead easy to make with the 11 year old grandson. Materials are off good quality.

A great idea for a kit. Love London and loved building this. Not so hard at all to put together, pretty much anyone should be able to make it.

A lovely wooden kit to build. Was bought it by husband after our visit to London last year. I love all the little moving parts when I turn the handle and my friends all want one now!

My favourite Timberkits model yet. Different to many of the others in that all the parts are laser cut, really like the new style. Hoping for more like this in the future.

I can't praise Timberkits enough for their kits and they have really exceeded themselves with this London version. There is so much to see in this model, just like London itself! I really hope they create more city-themed kits in the future.

I have been a big fan of Timberkits models ever since I purchased my first one many years ago, in fact it's still going strong on my bedroom mantel piece. The London Cityscape kit is part of their new laser-cut range of models which are a bit different in nature to their pre-existing stuff. Really like it and it reminds me of home!

A fabulous DIY kit resembling the London landscape. Have had numerous kits from these guys in the past and have yet to be dissappointed. I've built loads of kits but I should think a beginner could handle this one comfortably too.
